We are available to schedule appointments by phone during all hours of business on a "first come, first serve" basis. To schedule, we require a credit/debit card or a gift card covering the full amount of the scheduled service to hold the reservation. For any appointments over $150, including Couple's Massage, we are required to take a "half down," (pay half of the service fee the same day the appointment was scheduled and the second half the day of your appointment). We do not offer refunds for "half downs" or missed appointments, credit will be applied to your account. If you need to cancel, please give us 24 hours or more, for single service appointments and 48 hours or more, for packages or multiple services, such as Couple's Massage.
*** The only time this card is charged is if you fail to cancel during the cancellation period or do not show up for your scheduled appointment time. ***
We recommend scheduling 2-3 weeks in advance for regular services and 3-6 weeks in advance for packages, especially if a Saturday is needed.
If you do need to cancel or reschedule your spa experience, we require you to do so at least 24 hours prior to your Appointment time for single service appointments, and 48 hours prior, for packages. If an appointment is cancelled after the allowed cancellation period, the full amount of the service fee will be charged. Missed appointment fees will not be refunded for any reason. If the appointment missed is being covered by a gift card then the gift card will be charged the full service fee for the missed appointment. If an appointment is missed, the service providers do not get paid for their time. Rescheduling after the cancellation period is allowed, so long as the previous service has been paid for. If the appointment missed is being covered by a gift card then the gift card will be charged for missed appointments and late notice cancellations.
If you have any medical concerns or specific areas of pain/injury, please let us know at the time of scheduling so that we may best accommodate your needs during your appointment. If you are pregnant or nursing, please let staff know before booking the appointment. All pregnant clients must be a minimum of 12 weeks to reserve a massage service.
*By making a reservation, you acknowledge that you have disclosed all medical conditions that would prevent you from receiving services, and agree to hold Elysian Fields Massage and Spa, our owners, staff and vendors harmless from complications due to medical conditions that you did not advise us of prior to service delivery.*
We do allow registered service animals, but pets and/or other animals are not allowed.
We provide warmed, luxurious robes and spa slippers for all guests to change into before receiving their services. If you are receiving a body treatment from our Estheticians, we offer disposable under garments for both men and women. For facials,
we provide each guest with a facial wrap, which fits securely around the chest. Every precaution is taken to ensure that no guest is ever inappropriately exposed. Although most spa services do not require guests to be fully disrobed, your comfort is our top priority.
We kindly ask all clients, please do not wear any perfumes or cologne when coming into the spa.
We accept bank debit cards, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and of course our Elysian Fields Massage & Spa Gift Cards and Gift Certificates. Please bring your gift card/certificate for payment. We do not accept checks or SpaWeek Gift Cards.
Clients please note: If you are planning to pay with a gift card, the gift card MUST be brought with you to the service. If you do not have the physical gift card, then an alternative payment method must be used. Effective 8/28/2024.
Please note as of February 19th, 2024, we now include a 3% card processing fee.
Please let us know if you have any preferences for your services. Our goal is to make sure your experience is exceptional! Whether it be the amount of pressure during a massage, the table temperature, or whether you want conversation or silence; all of these factors can and will be adjusted to maximize your spa experience.
We ask that you arrive approximately 15 minutes BEFORE your appointment time, as your appointment time is when your service begins. If you arrive late, your service will be shortened to coincide with the scheduled appointment time. Please remember that we have multiple guests at the same time and they want to start on time as well. Additionally, our service providers base their schedules on what appointments are set, and only arrive for scheduled appointments. If an appointment is missed they will not be able to be paid for that service. Arriving early, allows time for a leisurely check-in, time to complete necessary forms, change clothes and a few minutes to relax before your spa experience begins!
*If you would like to use our free shower service prior to service delivery, please arrive 30 minutes prior to your reservation time, in order to allow yourself ample time to prepare for your spa treatments. You may also indulge in shower services after any spa service provided by our spa.
Elysian Fields Massage & Spa is designed to be a sanctuary from the outside world; where every guest is encouraged to totally relax and disconnect from everyday life.
Outside noises such as cell phones and loud voices diminish this relaxation experience for spa guests. Because of this, we require every guest to turn off cell phones and/or pagers before entering the spa, and ask that you use appropriate speaking levels while in the treatment areas and hallways of our spa. By doing this, all spa guests will be able to fully enjoy the peace and quiet that our spa offers. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation!
If your services include snacks, please let us know if you have any food allergies or requests. Our custom snacks consist of chocolate fondue, fresh strawberries and seasonal fruit, and assorted cheeses with crackers, all served with a chilled bottle of water.
Our gift cards never expire, except for gift cards purchased before August 22nd, 2010, which have already expired. Gift cards purchased before this time frame will not be honored. Gift cards can be purchased for any amount $25 or more. They can be used for any product or service offered at the spa. If needed, gift cards can be transferred to another individual other than for whom it was originally purchased for, with notice given to the spa. If using a gift card/certificate for payment, please bring it with you to your appointment to speed up your check-out time. Gift cards are non-refundable purchases.
If you are not satisfied with a product you purchased or change your mind for any reason, we will exchange the product or refund your money, within 7 days, provided the product is in re-sellable condition, (please note: opened skin care products cannot be returned). After 7 days, unopened or unused products may be returned for spa credit only.
Elysian Fields Massage and Spa is a family-friendly spa, which provides services to both adults and children; at times, simultaneously. We take your privacy and security very seriously.
Elysian Fields Massage & Spa operates strictly within all laws, rules and ethical guidelines for operation of a day spa as prescribed by Kentucky State Law and Federal Law; any spa guest who suggests that our staff do otherwise will be immediately reported without further notice and will be permanently banned from receiving future spa services of any kind. Multiple systems are in place to ensure our promise of privacy and safety for all spa guests, regardless of age. Offenders will be promptly reported to legal authorities.
We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual based on our spa policies.
